The Grand River Multi-Purpose Center in Chillicothe celebrated its grand reopening today. A ribbon cutting was held this morning, where Center Director Theresa Sykes shared her excitement about the updated facility.

Sykes says as a non-profit, the center is focused solely on serving the needs of the community. She noted that while the upgrades are complete, the center is still seeking donations to help with updated furnishings.

The facility will continue offering a wide range of services for Chillicothe and the surrounding area — from meals served both on-site and delivered to homes, to exercise classes, evening social gatherings, card and puzzle groups, and more. The center also houses the OATS Bus office and parking, and provides access to counseling, tax assistance, and immunizations.
