Flooding and very wet weather have delayed a bridge replacement project in Sullivan County. The Missouri Department of Transportation was scheduled to have a contractor begin with on the Highway 6 bridge at West Yellow Creek. Due to the flooding, the contractor, Boone Construction, has postponed the start of the project until next Monday, June 3rd.
When the project begins, traffic will be detoured. That detour includes: From Milan, Route C to 129, north to Highway 6.
Truck traffic is detoured south to US 36 and across to US 65.
