The City of Gallatin and Farmers’ Electric Cooperative have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission regarding a parcel of land in Daviess County.
According to the Missouri Public Service Commission, the application is an addendum to a previous territorial agreement between the two parties that was approved in 1997.
The proposal says Farmers’ will provide electric service to the “Holcumb tract”. The Commission says the addendum does not require the transfer of any facilities or customers between FEC and the city of Gallatin.
