The MoSMART board and the Missouri Department of Public Safety has awarded the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office a one year continuing grant to supplement salaries of the Sheriff’s Deputies.
According to Sheriff Steve Cox, for July 1 2019 through June 30th 2020, Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies will receive an additional $100 per month to help boost their wages.
The grant total is for just over $14,000 and also covers the additional fringe benefit costs associated with the increased wage.
This is from a grant application from the Deputy Sheriff Salary Supplement Funds grant submitted by Sheriff Cox with approval from County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas.
