The Chillicothe R-II School District Administrative office will move to another temporary location this afternoon. Superintendent Dan Wiebers says after more than two months of working out of the Chillicothe High School Library, the Administrative Offices will move to 2005 Washington Street, a couple of blocks north of Park Lane. The office is actually located on Yousef Lane.
Superintendent Wiebers explains the office staff will work out of that location until the renovation work at the District’s permanent Central Office is completed. That space on Business 36 was flooded after the Grand River hit near-record levels in late May.
The move to the temporary site will allow the CHS staff to finish preparing for the new school year. Wiebers says they hope to be back in their permanent office location by early fall.
