The Grand River remains well above flood stage from Chillicothe to Brunswick.
At Pattonsburg and Gallatin, the river has fallen back below flood stage.
At Chillicothe, the river crested at 34.32 feet and is steadily falling. Moderate flooding continues and the river is at 29.2 feet at midday and is expected to fall back below flood stage of 24 feet around midday Friday.
At Sumner, flood stage is 26 feet. Moderate flooding is expected to continue until Sunday and the river is forecast to drop below flood stage of 26 feet Sunday morning. The Grand River at Sumner crested at 36.17 feet and was at 35.67 feet midday Thursday.
At Brunswick, Minor flooding continues and the river is on the rise again after dipping a bit after the railroad bridge was washed out. The river crested at 25.35 feet Tuesday evening and dropped to 23.7 feet Wednesday morning. The reading Thursday morning was 25.3 feet and a crest of 25.6 feet overnight tonight and then slowly drop towards Flood Stage of 19 feet by late Monday night.
