Chillicothe Lady Hornets Golfer Hallie Jones earned a medal at the two-day MSHSAA Golf Tournament.
Jones shot a 92 on Monday and lowered that by a stroke to a 91 on Tuesday for a two day total of 183, tying her for 14th place. The top 15 golfers received medalist honors.
Springfield Catholic won the team championship by a large margin, and had the top two golfers and the fourth place golfer. The individual champion had back to back rounds of 73 to beat her teammate by 5 strokes.
Other KCHI area golfers competing included Laken Sattman of Brookfield in 32nd place with a two day total of 201 and her teammate Demi Downey in 43rd with a 214.
Madison Gerdes of Marceline was 59th with a 224 and Makenna Campbell of Southwest Livingston County was 79th out of 90 golfers with a two day total of 246.
