The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department enforcement activities in October resulted in 24 citations issues. Sheriff Steve Cox says the enforcement period was from October 12th to the 28th. Twenty-three of the stops that resulted in citations were for speeding, 15 miles an hour or more over the speed limit. There was also one citation for expired registration and no insurance.
Sheriff Cox says “Our goal is to see that everyone gets home safely while educating motorists of the traffic dangers and laws through various enforcement actions.”
