A Spickard man had moderate injuries in an accident on Highway 6 near Galt Friday evening. At about 9:45 pm, 65-year-old Randall Dell of Spickard was injured when he was eastbound and ran into a vehicle driven by an Illinois man, who had slowed for animals in the roadway. Dell was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment. The other driver was not injured.
State Troopers arrested a Wheeling woman at about 8:00 pm Friday. Twenty-nine-year-old Annie Prothero of Wheeling was arrested for alleged DWI with a passenger under 17-years-old in the vehicle, no seatbelt, no insurance and Careless and Imprudent Driving involving an accident. She was processed and released. No injuries were reported in the accident.
