An election will be held April 7th to decide school board races and a few other boards. Filing for those wanting to hold the offices begins today.
In the Chillicothe R-II School District, there will be three seats on the ballot. Those seats are currently held by Board President Lauren Horsman, Brice Walker and Pat Jones. To file for School Board offices, you will need to register at the Chillicothe School District Office. That office is currently located at 2005 Washington Street, a block or so north of Park Lane on the service road.
Other School Districts will file at their district office.
There are three County Boards that will have candidates on the ballot. Candidates for those board positions will file at the Livingston County Clerk’s office. Those boards are:
Livingston County Ambulance Board
Livingston County Library Board
Livingston County Nursing home Board
