Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Chillicothe Police Officers responded to 89 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

9:15 am, Officers took a vehicle theft report by identity fraud in the 300 Block of S Washington.   The vehicle was recovered in Texas.   Suspects have not been positively identified and the investigation continues.

12:50 pm, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Lambert Drive.  No arrests were made and no charges are being sought.

3:20 pm, Officer picked up items recovered from the Chillicothe Middle School.  They will attempt to return the item to the owner.

3:32 pm, Officers in the 1400 block of Cooper Street located a dog that was reported missing from the 1700 block of Fairchild Street.  The dog was returned to the owner.

4:25 pm, Officer responded to a home in the 300 block of Walnut Street after Dispatch received 911 calls where no one would reply to questions.  The officers spoke with those at the address and found it was a phone problem and not an emergency.

7:29 pm, Officers responded to a report of a possible physical domestic incident in progress in the 200 block of Herriman St.  Those involved did not want to cooperate with Officers and provide information.  No arrests were made.

7:57 pm, Call from a concerned citizen in reference a female subject pushing a small child in a stroller, in the street at Polk and Locust Street.  Concerned that they might get struck by a vehicle.  Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the woman and child.

8:06 pm, Officer responded to the 1000 block of S. Washington to a reported vehicle accident.  The accident occurred on private property and parties involved exchanged information.
