A Boil Water Advisory is issued for a portion of Livingston County Public Water Supply District 2. The Boil Advisory us in effect now until 3:00 pm Friday. The area affected includes residents in the area on LIV 228, starting at LIV 229, east to LIV 2313, then north on LIV 2313.
Affected customers should boil water that is used for cooking or drinking for three minutes. Ice cubes made with tap water should be thrown out and made with the boiled water.
Surfaces that come in contact with raw or prepared foods should be sanitized with a solution of clean tap water and a tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water.
