A vehicle ended up in a pond after the driver lost control near Norborne. State Troopers report the accident happened Tuesday at about 4:10 pm on Highway 10 in Carroll County. According to the report, 30-year-old Jill Stewart of Grain Valley was eastbound and ran off the right side of the road. She overcorrected and crossed the road a couple of times before the car went off the right side of the road and into a pond. Stewart and her passenger, 33-year-old Colby Wochner of Blue Springs were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. They were not wearing safety belts.
