Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes 87 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

Early in the morning, a man with a warrant turned himself in at the police department and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Late in the morning, officers took reports on a hit-and-run crash.  They also responded to a report of forgery, with charges being sought in that incident.

In the afternoon, police were called to two reports of erratic driving—one vehicle wasn’t located, while in the other case officers found an elderly, confused driver and took him home. A woman was cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing an egg at a vehicle.

Monday night, officers checked on suspicious activity on Hoyt Drive.

And at about 10:30 pm, Officers responded to the 200 block of Williams St. for a report of an unresponsive man. He was transported to the hospital, where he was later declared deceased. The investigation continues.
