The weekend Chillicothe police report includes more than 150 calls for service from Friday through Sunday. Some of the calls include:
On Friday, officers responded to several incidents, including a reported scam call, a traffic stop that led to an arrest for driving without a license, and a report of a man carrying a machete into a business. That individual was later arrested for driving while suspended. Officers also removed a metal pipe from a roadway and responded to a report of juveniles firing an air pistol at a building. The juveniles were detained and released to parents.
On Saturday, officers assisted medics, investigated a two-vehicle crash with no injuries, and took a report of theft where a suspect was identified and will be charged. Later, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Calhoun Street, where a man was arrested for domestic assault and released.
On Sunday, police conducted a welfare check, assisted an elderly woman who had fallen, and responded to another domestic assault involving a juvenile who was later released to parents. Officers also helped de-escalate a workplace dispute and checked a commercial burglary alarm and found the business to be secure.
