Ninety-two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday.
Officers followed up on an ongoing assault investigation. They also responded to several routine calls, including assisting the fire department with a medical call, addressing questions about possible theft and threats, and checking on a reported traffic hazard and an intoxicated driver—neither of which were located.
Animal control responded to a report of a dog running at large but was unable to find the animal. Officers also handled a parking complaint, with the vehicle owner agreeing to move.
Late Monday evening, a 59-year-old man was arrested in the 600 block of Elmdale Road for violating an order of protection and was held for 24 hours pending formal charges.
