MoDOT Roadwork

The Missouri Department of Transportation roadwork projects for the summer are in full swing.  In the local counties, there are several bridge replacement projects.

Other projects in the KCHI listing area include:

Caldwell County

  • Route 13 – Resurfacing and ADA improvements project from Samuel Street to School Street in Hamilton through mid-May. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.

Carroll County

  • Route 41 – CLOSED around-the-clock at the Wakenda Chute Bridge until further notice for bridge deck repairs.
  • Route 10 – Pavement repair and resurfacing project from Route FF to Route C in Ray County, through May 15. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.

Chariton County

  • Route EE – ADA sidewalk improvements project from Route 139 to just west of Walnut Street in Sumner, through April 2026.
  • Route CC – ADA sidewalk improvements project from Fifth Street to Felt Street in Mendon, through April 2026.
  • Route K – ADA sidewalk improvements project in Keytesville, through April 2026.

Daviess County

  • Route 13 – Resurfacing and ADA improvements project from Berry Street to Van Buren Street in Gallatin through mid-May. Route 13 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
  • Route K – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Route P to Hope Avenue, May 4, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Grundy County

  • Route J – Scrub seal project, May 4-6. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car.
  • Route 128 – Culvert replacement at Route 146, May 6.
  • Route BB – Scrub seal project, May 6-8. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car.
  • Route N – Scrub seal project, May 7-11. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car.

Linn County

  • US 36 – Concrete replacement from Route 129 to Route 5, May 4-6. The westbound driving lane will be closed around-the-clock.

Sullivan County

  • Route 5 – Resurfacing project from U.S. Route 136 east of Unionville to Route 6 north of Milan through July 2026. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.
