Data Center Regulations: Douglas Assures Nothing in the Works

An ordinance concerning Data Centers and Battery Storage was approved by the Livingston County Commission.  Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says a second public hearing was held Thursday morning on the issue.

Set backs, noise levels, water use, and power use.

Douglas says some of those in attendance were concerned about existing plans for data centers.

Have no information of data centers coming in.

The county has similar ordinances in place for Solar Farms, Wind Turbines.
