A Sidewalk Improvement Project in Hale begins Monday. The Missouri Department of Transportation contractor will begin the project on Missouri Route 139 in Hale. The work is to ensure compliance with the ADA requirements. The project is funded in part through the Transportation Alternatives Program and will improve sidewalks in Bosworth, Hale, Keytesville, Mendon, Norborne, Rothville, and Sumner.
The work may include the use of flaggers and lane closures.
Once the sidewalk replacements are complete, crews will install signs and pavement markings.
