The Chillicothe City Administrator’s position is vacant. In Monday’s Closed Executive Session, the council accepted the resignation of Roze Frampton that was tendered at the request of the council. Frampton was hired as City Administrator in May of 2022. Prior to her service in that position, she served 23 years as the elected city clerk.
The city released the following statement,
“The Mayor and City Council recognizes that effective local government depends upon a strong working relationship and shared vision between elected officials and administrative leadership. After considerable discussion and reflection, the Council determined that a leadership transition at this time is in the best interest of the City moving forward.”
