Marilyn Irene Harman, 89, of Chillicothe, Missouri passed away Monday July 27, 2026, at the Morningside Care Center in Chillicothe
She was born September 10, 1936, in Hale, Missouri, daughter of Russell and Hattie (Matthews) Timmons. On February 12, 1956, she married Dan M. Harman, who preceded her in death.
Marilyn was a graduate of the Hale High School. She worked with her husband on the family farm all of her life. Marilyn was a member of the Church of Christ in Carrollton, Missouri.
Survivors include three sons, Kevin Harman, Alvin Harman, Jon Harman; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Gene Harman, four brothers, Russell Timmons, Jr., Benny Timmons, Paul Timmons, Cecil Timmons, three sisters, Mildred Wilburn, Shirley Forsyth, Linda Walker and a granddaughter, Tiffany Harman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Bittiker Funeral Home, in Carrollton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Carroll Memory Gardens Cemetery in Carrollton, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Harman, Jr. Darren Harman, Andrew Harman, Brandon Harman, Jeff Grant and Colton Harman.
The family suggests contributions to Carroll Memory Gardens Cemetery.
