The Chillicothe City Council approved the 2026 tax rate for real estate and personal property. The rate approved is $.8367 per $100 valuation. Auditor Allison Jeffries explained the rates prior to a vote.
General Tax fund of .6530 and Park Tax Rate of .1837
The total tax rate is down from 2025’s rate of .8509 per $100 valuation.
