Areas of abnormally dry conditions are found across areas of North Missouri, including some of the local counties. The Missouri Drought Monitor released their report for September 1st.
Most of North Missouri is showing no drought. There are abnormally dry conditions reported in portions of Grundy, Livingston, Linn, Carroll, Chariton, and Sullivan Counties.
In the southern part of the state, there are small areas of extreme drought in McDonald and Barry Counties, Severe Drought in the SW corner of the state, and areas of moderate drought and abnormally dry conditions in counties from Bates County to the boot heel.
