The Chillicothe Lady Hornets finished fourth as a team Thursday at the St. Joseph Central Invitational at Moila Golf Course, posting a team score of 434 over the par-74 course.
Emerson Brobst led Chillicothe with a 102, shooting 51 on both the front and back nine. Ava Lance followed with a 106 after rounds of 53-53. Harper Horsman and Libbie Bonderer each carded a 113, while Piper Guthrie finished with a 118.
Maryville won the team championship with a 388, followed by Savannah at 395 and Liberty at 409. Chillicothe’s 434 placed the Lady Hornets ahead of Benton (454), Central (464), Excelsior Springs (507) and Bishop LeBlond (564).
Benton’s Kyndall Hubbard captured individual medalist honors with an 86, shooting 43 on each nine. Savannah’s Rylee Jones was second at 87, while Maryville’s Avonlea Mitchell finished third at 95. Maryville also had Halle Zimmerman at 96 and Cate Jordan, Taylor Akon and Liberty’s Kylie Scarbrough and Alaina Cooper tied at 99.
The tournament was played Sept. 3 at Moila Golf Course, which played to a par of 74.
