Chillicothe Weekend Police Report

Chillicothe Police Department handled 115 calls for service on Friday, 61 on Saturday and 37 on Sunday.

 

On Friday at 10:27 a.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of 15th St. for a report of fraud. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

 

10:41 a.m., Officers responded to Gravesville Park for a report of 2 males fighting. Officers arrived and spoke with witnesses and both males involved. 1 of the males was arrested and was found to be in possession of controlled substances. The arrested male was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center

 

11:47 a.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Park Ln and US 65 for a report of a 2 vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.

 

08:53 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Washington St. During the stop Officers conducted an investigation for impaired driving. The driver was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was later released with a citation for DWI.

 

On Saturday at 12:27 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 2nd St. and Locust St. During the stop Officers conducted an investigation for impaired driving. The driver was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was later released with a citation for DWI.

 

11:59 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of Herriman St. for a report of a domestic assault. Officers detained a juvenile suspect and transported the juvenile to the Chillicothe Police Department. The juvenile was later released to their parents. The report will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office.

 

On Sunday 07:00 a.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Jackson St. and Washington St. for a report of a 2 vehicle crash. Both drivers reported possible injuries and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. A report was taken.

 

08:23 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Jameson St and Cowgill St. for a report of a suspicious female who had trespassed. Officers gave the female a warning for trespassing.

 

08:58 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Waples St. and Cowgill St. During the stop it was discovered the driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was arrested and later released with a citation.

 

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and follow-up investigations.
