Daviess County Crash Claims One Life, Leaves Two With Serious Injuries

A two-vehicle crash in Daviess County Tuesday morning took the life of one driver and left two others with serious injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 9:40 am on Missouri 190, three miles north of Jamesport at Route P.  According to the report, a 43-year-old Darlington, MO, man was eastbound on Route P and failed to stop, pulling his car into the path of a northbound pickup driven by a 77-year-old Gilman City man.  The car came to rest on the road, while the pickup went off the road and overturned.

The driver of the car, the 43-year-old Darlington man, died at the scene.  The other driver and his passenger, a 75-year-old Gillman City woman, had serious injuries and were flown to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.
