The Active Shooter training exercise with the Chillicothe R-II School District was a success for the agencies involved. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says they were very pleased with the outcome.
This builds on the training that is done with the School District staff, and he says they were very pleased.
Chief Maples explained the debrief of the event.
Meeting with the staff, administration, and the officers to review the exercise.
He said that when there are areas identified, they become learning opportunities, and if it is an equipment or technology issue, those are noted for needed improvements.
