CMU General Manager Matt Hopper told the council they have located the needed part, a Free Turbine Gearbox.
Found one rebuilt to Zero Hour specs.
The council approved the purchase for up to $800,000.
Hopper says the replacement unit will stay in place, and they will have the failed unit rebuilt and on hand if it is needed in the future.
