Livingston County Sheriff’s Department booked 48-year-old Marvin Maupin into the Caldwell County Detention Center on a commitment order from a charge of DWI, persistent offender. Maupin is ordered to serve 29 days of shock time to be eligible for parole. He is to surrender himself each Thursday in October and on Fridays in November, and be in custody through Sunday until the shock time is served.
