Chillicothe Police Participate In Property And Evidence Training

Three members of the Chillicothe Police Department recently attended the Missouri Association for Property and Evidence Conference.  Captain Curtis Hays says he and Sergeants Jeff Allen and Cody Dysart participated in the training programs offered.

Training is specifically for dealing with and handling of evidence.

Hays says the training at the conference does apply towards required training.

Most applies towards POST continuing education credits.

The training allows them to bring back information to improve and implement the best practices when it comes to managing evidence, maintaining custody and control, and then disposing of it when the time comes.
