The annual Mitten Tree at the Livingston County Health Center is currently collecting donations that will be available to those in need during the cold winter months. Clara Brown from the Health Center says they are accepting donations during regular business hours.
Donations for children, women, and men.
Hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves are being accepted from individuals, community groups, and businesses. They can be dropped off from 8:00 am to Noon and 1:00 to 4:30 weekdays. There is often a particular need for men’s items.
Brown says they expect to have the Mitten Tree set up in their lobby by early next week.
