Accident reports from the Missouri Highway Patrol for the weekend have been released.
Sunday at 2:10 am in Carroll County, a two-vehicle accident left one passenger with moderate injuries. The accident happened on Route JJ at Carroll County Road 111, when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Brandon Benefiel of Norborne was southbound and went through an intersection and into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by 43-year-old Misty Stanley. A passenger in the Benefiel vehicle, 22-year-old Shianne Francis of Independence had moderate injuries and was taken to Ray County Memorial Hospital. The drivers were not injured. They were not wearing safety belts.
Sunday at about 2:10 pm, a single-vehicle accident in Sullivan County left two injured. Twenty-four-year-old Skylar Rhodes of Kirksville was northbound on Missouri Highway 11 near Winigan and ran off the road and the car overturned. Rhodes had moderate injuries and a two-year-old girl had minor injuries and were taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center. They were wearing safety belts.
In Linn County at about 7:00 pm Sunday, a single-vehicle accident on Route Y near Linneus left the driver with moderate injuries. According to the report, 24-year-old Brandon Preston of Brookfield was southbound and his car ran off the road and overturned. Preston was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt.
