Maryville handed the Chillicothe boys soccer team a 3-0 loss on Maryville’s home field.
After a scoreless first half, Maryville scored on a corner kick in the 52nd minute and scored again in the 60th and 68th minute.
Hornets Goal Keeper Jaxon Albertson had six saves in the game. Maryville had ten shots on goal to Chillicothe’s six and Chillicothe had six corner kicks to Maryville’s one.
The Junior Varsity match ended in a scoreless tie.
Tuesdays match with Lafayette is postponed due to COVID at Lafayette. The next match for Chillicothe will be Thursday against LeBlond.
