Briner 1st at Benton Cross Country Meet

Chillicothe Cross Country Runner Aliyah Briner had a great day at the Benton Cross Country meet, winning the Varsity race in a time of 23:48 Kadence Shipers was 4^th, Juliann Gabrielson was 9^th and Kaylynn Cranmer was 13^th.
Chillicothe Coach Jennifer Dickson said all her girls’ team finished the race very strong and all medaled.
St Joe Christian was the only complete team in the girls’ race. They had a perfect score of 15 with their runners finishing in 1^st through 5^th place.
On the boys’ side, Chillicothe finished 4^th out of five complete teams. Hayden Simmer finished 13^th, Clayton Savage was 26^th, Austin Lyford 27^th, Gavin Funk 38^th and Kade Simmer was 40^th.
Coach Dickson said all her boy runners set personal records in the race. St Joseph Central won the boys team race.
