A two-vehicle accident in Linn County Friday afternoon left a Marceline woman with moderate injuries. State Troopers report 72-year-old Mary Stufflebean of Marceline was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield following the accident at about 2:55 pm on US 36, 10 miles east of Brookfield. According to the report, a pick-up driven by 59-year-old Dale Palmer of Macon was westbound and ran into the back of the Stufflebean vehicle.
Palmer was not injured. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
