Chillicothe Senior Golfer Hallie Jones improved her MSHSAA Golf Championship position in the second day of the state golf championships to finish 19th out of 75 Class 2 Golfers.
Jones shot a 92 on day one and a 91 on day two. A Springfield Catholic High School Golfer won the individual championship with a 139, 14 strokes ahead of the second-place golfer.
In Class 1 for Brookfield, Demi Downey finished 10th with a two-day score of 200. Carley Clarkson was 49th, Kaley Smith 60th and Avery Thompson 74th.
Other area individual golfers in Class 1 included from Gallatin Claire Hemry finishing 41st and Elle Copple tied for 46th. From Marceline Tess Sheerman tied for 30th and Makenna Campbell of Southwest Livingston knocked 11 strokes off her game on the second day to finish 25th with a 211.
