The Chillicothe Soccer team begins post season play in the Class 2 District 8 tournament at Savannah this evening.
The Hornets are the fourth seed and will face St Joseph Lafayette, the 5th seed in the 5-team tournament.
This will be the third meeting of the season between these two teams. Chillicothe won a non-conference meeting October 13th 2 to 1 and won the conference game on October 28th on the road 4 to 0.
Chillicothe is 10 and 6 on the season while Lafayette is 3 and 13.
The winner of tonight’s match will play top seed Bishop LeBlond on Tuesday at 6:00pm. The bottom half of the bracket has #2 seed Savannah against #3 seed St Joseph Benton on Tuesday at 4:00pm.
The championship game is Thursday at 5:00pm.
