In area District Cross Country results from Classes 1 and 2 in district 8, which also was held at Platte City with Class 3 were, in the Class 1 Girls race included from Braymer Valarie Demsko in 4th, Delaney Davies in 15th and Karly Cox in 18th.
Class 1 Boys race included Brody Hughson of Braymer in 22nd.
In Class 2 Girls race, the Polo girls team finished 5th with Kendall McCracken in 21st, Arianna Wolf 22nd, Valorie Gabrielli in 32nd, Corryn Baird 34th and Jordan Carter 35th.
Penney High of Hamilton’s Olivia Poynter finished 27th.
In Class 2 Boys race Polo finished 5th and Penney of Hamilton finished 7th.
For Polo: Gavin Fitzwater finished 7th, Ty Claypole 30th, Zachary Stratton 34th, Jacob Sales 51st, Tyler Carter 52nd, Garret Daughters 53rd, and Will Vaughn 54th.
For Penney: Jackson Thomas 16th, Ryan McIntosh 17th, Chevy Lundy 39th, Jacob Dawson 46th and Alex Dailey 56th.
