Chillicothe High School’s Cross Country qualifiers are in Columbia today for the State Cross Country Championship in Columbia at the Gans Creek course.
For the Chillicothe Boys, Senior Hayden Simmer will be competing.
The Four Member Lady Hornets team will be competing which includes Aliyah Briner, Kaylynn Cranmer, Juliann Gabrielson, Emily Shipers and Kadence Shipers.
A team from the Midland Empire Conference will continue their quest for a State Volleyball Championship. The Maryville Lady Spoofhounds at 19-2 will face Hermann at 24-6-3 today at 9:00am in the state semifinals. The winner plays Saturday for first at 9:00am and the loser plays Today at 11:00am for third.
The upper half the bracket is Park Hills Central at 26-5-3 against Springfield Catholic at 33-2-1.
