A two-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Clinton County left one driver with minor injuries. State Troopers investigated the accident on Missouri 116, east of Lathrop. According to the report, at about 10:10 am, 26-year-old Michael Crookshank of Smithville was eastbound and attempted to pass another vehicle. He pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 52-year-old Michelle Stanley of Polo. Stanley took evasive action and went off the road. She had minor injuries and was treated at North Kansas City Hospital. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
