A rollover accident involving a semi Saturday morning in Carroll County left a passenger in the truck with serious injuries. 62-year-old Deborah Hernandez of Dayton, Ohio was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries. The driver, 80-year-old Jose Hernandez, also of Dayton, Ohio, had minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The Highway Patrol reports the accident happened Saturday at about 12:10 am on US 24, near County Road 371. The report states Hernandez was westbound when he ran off the side of the road and over-corrected, causing the truck to overturn.
