Hornets Coach Rulo Announces Resignation

The Chillicothe Hornets Football program will have a new Head Coach next year. Current Coach Tim Rulo has announced his resignation. In a statement to the Media, Rulo said his decision was based on family, stating “being this far from my parents has been surprisingly difficult as they get older and my children miss them dearly”.
Rulo went on to say he is grateful for the time here, the memories made and the young people he had the privilege to coach.
Rulo stated he has absolutely no doubt the Hornets football team will be extremely successful moving forward, saying there is a great deal of talent coming and coaches who will continue to care for and coach the athletes well.
Chillicothe high school Principal and Athletic Director Dan Nagel said the time and search for the vacancy of Head Football Coach will start immediately and continue until the position is filled.
He stated “Coach Rulo put a great deal of time and hard work and effort into the head coaching position while at Chillicothe High School.”
In his three seasons at Chillicothe, his teams had a combined record of 16 and 18, including a district runner-up team in his second season. The team returns eight offensive starters and nine defensive starters from this past season’s  3-8 team, including several sophomore starters.
