The Chillicothe Boys Basketball team lost to St Pius X 67-59 in a conference game on the road.
Chillicothe led most all of the first quarter, by as many as five points. However St Pius took the lead early in the second quarter and Chillicothe couldn’t recover, trailing by as many as eleven points in the third quarter.
Pius was hot from the outside, hitting eleven treys in the game. Chillicothe had 24 points from Wyatt Brandsgaard, Griff Bonderer had 19 points, ten rebounds and eight assists. Mason Baxter was good for six points, Hayden Simmer with four, Jackson Trout with three, James Matthew with two and Cayden Potter with a free throw.
Pius had one player with 26 points and another with 21. With the loss Chillicothe falls to 12-5 on the season.
