The Chillicothe Hornets wrestling team qualified nine wrestlers for the Sectional wrestling tournament. To qualify, a wrestler had to finish in the top four of the District wrestling tournament, hosted by Chillicothe over the weekend.
Winning their weight classes in the District Tournament was Sheldon Rader who improved to 32-11 on the season after winning first at 113 pounds.
Brock Miller improved to 31-9 on the season by winning the 182 pounds, with all three wins coming via pins.
Finishing second was Brody Carins at 152.
Finishing third were Lane McCoy at 103 and Gauge Chenet at 160.
Placing fourth were Justin Pyle at 132, Bryce Dominique at 145, Lucas Reynolds at 195 and Wade Horton at 220.
Competing but not placing for Chillicothe were Joel Edwards at 120, Logan Clark at 126, Cayden Larson at 138, Dawson Sutton at 170, and Christian Peniston at 285.
