The Chillicothe Hornets put together a solid fourth quarter to pick up a Conference win at Cameron 61 to 55. The game was tied at 42 after three quarters.
Assistant Coach Tim Cunningham, filling in for the quarantined Coach Tim Cool, said the team was led by Griff Bonderer and Hayden Simmer.
Sophomore Griff Bonderer and Senior Hayden Simmer both finished with 25 points. Bonderer hit seven treys, tying him for Second place in the school record book for treys in a single game while Simmer nailed four of them.
Freshman James Mathew had six points and eleven rebounds. Wyatt Brandsgaard had four, Mason Baxter with one and playing time for Eli Cross and Landon Winder.
Cameron was led by Ian Riely with 15 points. Chillicothe travels to Maryville on Thursday as part of a girls/boys doubleheader.
