The 14th annual Shortgrass Chapter of Quail Forever banquet included several awards. The banquet was held at the Litton Ag Center and includes games for children and adults, a Live Auction that raised more than $9,000 and several awards. Vice President David Figg says the evening included raising funds to honor a young man from Sumner.
The chapter auctioned off a special shotgun that raised $3,300 for the JT Richardson NW Shooting Sports Complex.
The Chapter also announced this year’s scholarship of $500 was awarded to Ashton Crouch
Their annual Stewardship Award was presented to David Gilliland.
