The Chillicothe Municipal Utilities budget for the 2021/22 fiscal year received preliminary approval from the Board of Public Works. The budget includes a 2% Cost of Living increase. The budget includes NO rate increases.
The big capital project for the year will be the AMI. That is the Automated Meter & Information project to upgrade the Meter reading program.
The budget will go to a joint session of the Board of Public Works and City Council for review.
Final changes will be made if needed and the budget will be sent to the City Council before the end of March.
