Maryville scored six runs in the fifth inning and went on to a 10-3 win over Chillicothe in Saturday’s Chillicothe Baseball Tournament’s sixth place game.

Chillicothe scored one run in the bottom of the fifth inning but gave up two in the sixth and seventh innings.
Chillicothe used seven pitchers in the seven inning game, giving up 10 earned runs off 13 hits.
At the plate, Chillicothe had two singles from Mason Baxter, Landon Winder and Wyatt Brandsgaard and one from Griff Bonderer.
Maryville benefited from two home runs and a double as part of their 13 hits.
