The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 123 calls for service Tuesday. A few of the calls include:
3:25 pm, Complaint of noisy 4-wheelers in the 200 block of Walnut Street. At 7:50 pm, officers received a report of C & I 4-wheelers in the 200 block of Walnut Street. Officer made contact those involved were warned about their careless operation. At 8:28 pm, Officers were back in the 200 block of Walnut Street to talk with neighborhood residents about the ongoing issues with C & I drivers.
6:15 pm, Officers out at Chilli Bay in reference to an assault. Two juveniles assaulted each other and then a parent assaulted one of the juveniles. All parties were contacted and reported to the police department. Juvenile authorities were notified and the 35-year-old parent that was involved was processed and transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold in lieu of charges of Assault and Abuse of a child.
7:12 pm, Out with person in the 700 block of Elm Street. The individual was apparently lost and confused. The son had contacted the police department. Officers provided a courtesy ride to a motel in the 500 block of Business 36. Emergency Services responded to the scene to check on the person and they were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation.
11:23 pm, Disturbance reported in the 1400 block of Alexander Street. Officers made contact with residents and one person fled from Officers into Danner Park, where they were apprehended and a second was located at the home and taken into custody on two Brookfield warrants, posted bond and was released. The person that resisted Officers was cited for resisting arrest/detention by fleeing, and released.
