Livingston County is in the top 20 percent for the number of people who have received their COVID Vaccination. County Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says we need to do better.
The Livingston County Health Center set the goal of 50-70 percent. Douglas says the vaccination is available at no charge at the health center and the local pharmacies. Douglas says they are encouraging residents to use all precautions to prevent the spread.
Douglas talked about the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.
COVID-19 testing is available at the Livingston County Health Center and vaccinations for COVID-19 are available on a walk-in basis Tuesday and Thursday, without an appointment. If you have questions, call the health center at 646-5506.
